2008 team was more of a monster IMO C: Prime Dwight, Bosh PF: Lebron, Boozer SF: Melo, Tayshaun SG: Kobe, D Wade PG: Kidd, CP3, D Will when he used to cook people SF position was probably more stacked in 2012 but, ill take Dwight over Davis D Wade over Harden Kidd over Westbrook

Esta paliza a Francia demuestra lo difícil que es competir contra estas figuras de la NBA. Y da mucho más valor a España su plata jugandole y compitiendo del minuto 1 al 40 teniendo entre las cuerdas en más de un momento del partido al poderoso equipo americano. @@alfonsoaranda3808 No se dice las veces que USA pasaron por encima de los españoles porque es lo "normal" y esperable que ocurra y/o haya ocurrido ya que son superiores, eso no es noticia. Lo sorprendente es como compitió España a USA en 2008 y 2012, algo que fue reconocido por todos los medios internacionales y los propios jugadores norteamericanos. Eso sí fue noticia. Además, tratándose, a mi parecer, del segundo mejor Dream Team de la historia, es algo que no he visto competirles así a nadie. Con mis respetos a la antigua Yugoslavia y la URSS. Por otro lado, en Atenas 2004 España ganó todos los partidos de grupo incluyendo las victorias ante los que serían finalistas (Argentina e Italia). No especuló aún sabiendo que USA estaba perdiendo partidos. España quedó primera de grupo, pasó directamente a cuartos de final. USA quedó cuarta en el otro grupo cruzándose en cuartos con España y quedando ésta eliminada porque los norteamericanos hicieron un gran partido contra España, les entraron todos los triples que no metieron en la fase de grupos. En Río 2016 también quedó eliminada en semifinales, no en la final. En Tokio 2020, USA eliminó a España en cuartos de final tras haber perdido contra Slovenia. El resto de encuentros los ha perdido España por muchos puntos como dices, excepto la disputa del quinto puesto en el mundial de Indianápolis que ganó España. Ojalá el baloncesto FIBA algún día pueda ganarles con claridad. De momento, ya no hay tanta distancia como hace años. En la NBA es algo que asumen con naturalidad, lo que dice mucho de lo global que es esa liga (Giannis antetokounmpo y Nikola Jokic MVPs, Doncic como jugador de referencia en anotación en Dallas...). Un saludo.

Justin L He actually had a tough go of it in Rio. It was just after he signed with the Golden State Warriors, and his confidence was clearly shaken after all the negative press he was getting because of it. As a result, the team looked extremely beatable, but then before the gold medal game, I believe, Coach K gave a pep talk to KD, he played great, and the USA got the gold easily.
