@Nic Stone Hakeem's move where he takes the drop step faking the reverse dribble is unlike what LeBron does here, in that Hakeem picks up his dribble (stops dribbling) after the drop step. Then, he fakes a fall away, and then dips under the jumping defender, and toward the hoop (pivoting, most of the time, all on the same pivot foot. He did however occasionally switch the pivot foot, thereby walking, but never got called for it). LeBron here, had he taken a dribble at the end of his drop step, then reversed forward again, he would've been fine. But, he took the drop step faking the reverse dribble, but failed to take the dribble at the end of the reverse fake, which would've been necessary to negate a carry, if he had intended to continue his dribble. As he resumed his dribbling after reversing forward again, this resulted in the carry due to the omitted dribble at the end of the reverse dribble fake, so in effect double-dribbling.

Now let’s examine his post Cleveland stats (WHEN HEALTHY), key words. 2019 with the Celtics, 21 ppg on 38% shooting. 2022 with Brooklyn, 21 ppg on 44% shooting. According to this data, Mr. kyrie Irving dosent seem to have the same level of production in the playoffs as he did in Cleveland. The reason he won more games in Cleveland was a because it was a great built roster with the GOAT right beside him. Not because he played like a superstar because again THE NUMBERS ARE THE SAME.
